Terms of use

SplitEvens is a free daily puzzle provided under the DFrankieJ Productions name. These terms explain use of the game and its optional account services. Contact support@dfrankiej.com with questions.

Play and progress

No purchase or account is required to play. New dailies open at 00:00 UTC. Local progress belongs to the browser where you played; clearing site data or browser storage eviction can remove it. Optional cloud sync stores progress on our service, not Google Drive. Keep important recovery files private. See Privacy & your data.

We work to keep the game and saves reliable, but cannot promise uninterrupted availability or recovery of every local save. Features may change. We aim to preserve released puzzles and results, and may withdraw a puzzle or result when a fault or abuse makes that necessary.

Optional accounts: 13+

You must be 13 or older to sign in, sync progress or participate in public leaderboards. If you are not legally an adult where you live, use those services with a parent or guardian’s permission. Do not submit a birth date or identity document to us. Under 13s should not use account services; a parent or guardian can help with local play.

Google verifies your sign-in. You are responsible for keeping your Google account secure. Signing in, private sync and public participation are separate choices. You can leave public leaderboards, turn off sync or delete your SplitEvens account in You → Account & sync. Deleting SplitEvens data does not delete your Google account.

Fair play and nicknames

Ranked results are checked by replaying the submitted route. Unassisted and Guided results are separate. The daily ranking uses the fewest splits, with shared ties; speed and payment never break a tie. Season points and assistance deductions are explained in Ranks.

• Do not submit results produced by bots, scripts or external solvers as your own play.
• Do not attack, overload or try to gain unauthorized access to the service or another player’s data.
• Choose a nickname rather than your full name. Do not use offensive, hateful, threatening or unlawful names, or impersonate another person, the studio or staff.

To report a nickname, use its Report link in Ranks. The email draft includes the public profile reference and puzzle context so we can identify the correct entry. We may hide public profiles or remove invalid public results after review. Private saves and valid gameplay records are retained unless you delete them or another applicable rule requires removal.

Our content and your rights

The game’s original code, puzzles, artwork and branding belong to their respective owners and licensors. You may play and share your own spoiler-free results. A licence to play does not transfer ownership or permission to redistribute the game’s assets, music or puzzle bank. Third-party credits are listed in Support & about.

These terms are written for operation in the United States. Applicable law, including any mandatory consumer and privacy rights where you live, continues to apply. Nothing here excludes rights or responsibilities that cannot legally be excluded. There is no arbitration requirement or waiver of statutory rights in these terms.
